Adding Audio
- Upload: Add background music or sound effects directly to your project from your device.
- Record a Voiceover: Capture narration directly in your browser using your microphone — no external recording software needed. Use the device selection menu to choose a specific mic.
- Audio Options: Toggle your microphone on or off and capture system audio when needed.
Auto-Transcription
Audio overlays are fully integrated with iviCut's subtitles & captions system:
- Web Speech API: Transcribe audio from your overlays into subtitles in 14 languages — including English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese.
- Multi-Source Selection: Use checkboxes to choose exactly which audio overlays to include in the transcription.
Timeline Integration
Once added, audio overlays are synced to the timeline. If you've created subtitles for an audio segment, they adjust automatically when the segment is moved or deleted.
